AFC Bournemouth travel to Arsenal on Saturday and have benefited from a major fitness boost with Antoine Semenyo set to be named in the squad.

It was widely expected that Semenyo would miss the clash over a knee injury but his MRI scan has come back clear and the 24-year-old is fresher than first thought.

The Ghana international winger has been in fine form for the Cherries this season, conjuring up 10 goal involvements across 30 Premier League appearances.

Semenyo’s comeback is not the only good news for Bournemouth with star defender Illia Zabarnyi also returning after he missed the 3-0 win over Brighton.

Philip Billing and Romain Faivre are back available too as Andoni Iraola’s side look to cause a shock result against a side fighting for the Premier League title.

Bournemouth go into the match as huge underdogs but have been in impressive form, winning back-to-back Premier League games without conceding a goal.

The south coast club have already registered the best Premier League season in their history, with the win over Brighton confirming their highest-ever points tally.

Iraola, though, is targeting more as he told a press conference on Friday: ‘We still want more points.

‘We have three very difficult games, starting with tomorrow, but we are going to keep trying to be competitive in every game.

‘Tomorrow is a really difficult game for us, really difficult, they are in good form and they have no injuries or will have most of the squad available.

‘They are playing for the title, so at the end, it’s going to be a difficult game and I hope we can be at the level.

‘I think we are stronger now. I think we have improved [since we last played Arsenal] and I hope we can give them a good game.’

The Gunners thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 when they met at the Vitality Stadium in September’s reverse fixture.
