The latest El Clasico instalment between Real Madrid and Barcelona is the headline act on Sunday but there are plenty of decent supporting acts taking place across Europe’s top leagues.

Championship outfit Coventry City will be looking to spring a surprise on Manchester United in their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley while there is also Scottish Cup, Premier League and Bundesliga action to get stuck into.

Our tips have focused on games from Spain, England and Scotland, starting with the crucial El Clasico between Real and Barca at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bet of the day

Rodrygo anytime goalscorer – 11/5

Sunday’s El Clasico encounter is a difficult one to call, especially as the pair have lost just four times between them in the league this season and are separated by eight points ahead of the final seven matches.

A win for Barcelona would put the cat amongst the pigeons in the title race and they will have extra fire in the belly following their Champions League quarter-final exit to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, managed to dispatch reigning European champions Manchester City on penalties 24 hours later and it remains to be seen just how much energy they have left for this contest, although the enormity of the fixture should help in that regard.

With the duo so evenly matched, it may prove prudent to look into the anytime goalscorer market and Madrid ace Rodrygo is hard to ignore at odds of 11/5.

The Brazil international has scored four goals in his last three appearances and he was also on the scoresheet for his country during the recent international break in a 3-3 draw with Spain.

Plenty of focus will be on Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham but Rodrygo could be the star of the show for Real.

Special of the day

Ellis Simms and Bruno Fernandes both to score at any time – 13/2

Coventry’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United promises to be an entertaining affair and Sky Blues ace Ellis Simms and Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes look to have a great chance of getting on the scoresheet at Wembley.

Sky Blues striker Simms has netted six times in as many appearances, including a brace in Cov’s quarter-final success over Wolves, while he also notched a hat-trick in their fifth-round win against non-league Maidstone United.

United’s Fernandes has stepped up his form over the last month, scoring six goals in his last seven appearances, and could maintain his output at Wembley.

Long shot of the day

Hearts to beat Rangers – 8/1

A run of three games without a win means Rangers no longer have the advantage in the Scottish Premiership title race, and the Light Blues could be set for further disappointment when taking on Hearts at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

The third-placed Jambos have been the best team outside of the two Glasgow giants in the league and they head to Hampden unbeaten in three matches.

Hearts have reached the final in three of the last five editions of the Scottish Cup and they can book their return to Hampden Park next month at the Gers’ expense.
