Dolly Parton has revealed she is launching her own range of wine.

The country music legend has followed in the footsteps of stars such as Kylie Minogue and Gary Barlow by bringing out her own tipple.

The 78-year-old – best known for hits such as 9 to 5 and Jolene – has registered a trademark in the United States as well as the Intellectual Property Office in the UK.

A source told The Sun: “Dolly is always looking at new ways to reach her audience and thought her own wine was a swell idea.

“She isn’t a huge drinker herself but she likes to have something special when she does fancy a tipple.

“She isn’t a huge drinker herself but she likes to have something special when she does fancy a tipple. She has been involved in developing the wine and is excited for it to hit the shelves.”

It is believed the wine range will be brought out later this year.

That is despite the fact Dolly tends to steer clear of alcohol.

Dolly, who appeared on Beyonce’s chart-topping album Cowboy Carter last month, will launch the brand after succeeding with her canine clothing venture, Doggy Parton.

She will join a long-list of celebrities who have their own alcohol brand.

Gary Barlow, the Take That singer, launched his wine brand from Spain in 2021.

While Australian singer Kylie Minogue created her hugely successful drink 12 months beforehand.

Kyle is thought to have sold £25 million of booze, making her sparking rose the country’s most popular pink Prosecco.
